Every Saturday, I go with some other ladies to hold a church service at one of the local prisons. When I was first asked to be a part of this a couple of years ago, I thought there was no way this was something the Lord wanted me to do because I wouldn't possibly be able to understand or help the ladies there. I had never used drugs and alcohol or been in any kind of trouble. I didn't think I had anything to offer them! I thought they would think that I could never really understand anything they were going through because I hadn't "been there". I know now that was just the enemy trying to keep me away from there because I DID have something to offer them ~ JESUS!!! The rest didn't matter, anyway! It's all about HIM! It doesn't matter what our background or our current situation is, we ALL need JESUS!

It only took me one time going there and I knew I was supposed to be there! I connected with the ladies immediately! I love them and can't wait to see them every week! There have been times when we were not able to go for different reasons and my heart ached to see them! I think about them every day! I want them to know how much the Lord loves them and that He has a great plan for their lives! Most in that place have no hope for a different life. We offer Hope to them through Jesus! They are being taught how to get their lives back in order and keep them that way! They are being taught how to be a godly wife and mother. They are being taught how to share what the Lord is doing for them with their family and friends when they are released!

The Lord is moving mightily in the prison! The last few weeks have been incredible services where the Presence of the Lord was very tangible and the ladies were crying and repenting! I, once again, am in awe of Him and what He is doing! I consider it an honor and a privilege to be a part of this ministry! I thank God that He allows me to go to the prison and minister to the ladies! I continue to see His faithfulness over and over again! He is Worthy of all the glory we can give Him!
