 I am just a simple girl who loves Jesus! The "normal" things I like to do are read, write, take pictures, listen to music, travel, and study about and help others with their Health & Nutrition. My passions are Jesus and people! Jesus is #1 and that will NEVER change! I love to spend time alone with Him in the "Secret Place" where He waits for me every day! I want to take to the world what He gives to me! I want everyone to know how much He loves them! He has a great plan and purpose for each and every person on the earth! Jeremiah 29:11 says 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, ' plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.' If you don't already know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I'd love to introduce you to Him! You will never be the same! And you will spend eternity in His Presence!I have been at LifeHouse Church (formerly Reserve Christian Church) for 20 years and can't imagine being anyplace else! They are the greatest people in the world! They have seen me through the toughest times of my life! I consider it an honor and a privilege to be under the leadership there! I am a Missionary and can not wait to be back out on the mission field again! I have been to Mexico twice, once living there for awhile, and to Russia once, with future trips already planned! There are some other places I believe the Lord will send me in the future, but we will see! I am also an Intercessor! I love nothing more than to pray for others! The first time I read "Rees Howells, Intercessor", I knew that would be me! I know that is something the Lord placed in me and I am very honored that He chose me for such a purpose, especially for such a time as this! I have been referred to as an "Esther" and I take that very seriously! I am hoping to do an internship at IHOP-KC. For 3 months, night and day, I will be in the Presence of the Lord, interceding, worshipping and being taught to minister to Him as my number one purpose in life! From that, I believe the Lord is going to use me to pass that to others who are lovesick for the Lover of their soul! My favorite kind of music is Worship, preferably Prophetic Worship. I also like soaking music for those quiet times. Some of my favorite artists are Kim Walker-Smith, Laura Hackett Park, Eddie Rodriguez, Cory Asbury, Matt Gillman, Jason Upton, Third Day, Rita Springer, JoAnn McFatter, IHOP, Don Potter, David Crowder, Misty Edwards, Alberto and Kimberly Rivera, John Belt, Suzi Yaraei, Jonathan Stockstill, Daniel Bashta, Jason Morant, Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, Jeremy Riddle, Jeremy Camp, Paul Wilbur, Keith Green, Morningstar, Jason Heilman, David Ruiz, Kevin Prosch, Jeremy Camp, Kari Jobe, Desperation Band, Chris Tomlin, Kelanie Gloeckler, Jonathan David Helser, Joel Khouri, Klaus, John McMillian, Chris Tomlin, almost anything that is true worship music. Some movies that I like are The Passion, God's Not Dead, War Room, Left Behind Series, Apocolypse, Revelation, Megiddo, One Night With the King, Deceived, Tribulation Force, The Ten Commandments, End of the Spear, Out of Africa. As far as books go, The Bible (God's unchanging Word; His love letter to us) is my fav of course! Anything by Jim or Michal Ann Goll, Dutch Sheets, Chuck Pierce, Cindy Jacobs, Peter Wagner, Alice and Eddie Smith, Andrew Murray, Watchman Nee, Smith Wigglesworth, Leonard Ravenhill, Oswald Chambers, A.W. Tozer, John Bevere, Max Lucado, anything about prayer, intercession, worship and revivals of the past, etc. Not much on TV that I like, except some good preaching once in awhile, like Lester Sumrall, Perry Stone, Mike Mille, to name a few ~ and on Podcast and Livestream and soon to be on TV, Pastor Rod Aguillard and Pastor Stephen Aguillard! I did watch the show "24" for all eight seasons, but that just ended and new ones are not being filmed. I have watched NCIS since the beginning. I like shows that are about government and military, so I guess that's why I like 24 and NCIS! |
